What's next?

Summer has just begun, but in many ways, it's half over. Schools in this area are starting back August 11. I remember starting the day after Labor Day. It seems that summer keeps getting shorter and shorter.

I'm sure summer vacations are already planned, and I know that for some of you, it's already complete. What's next? Where do you want to go? I talked a little about bucket list things in my last post. What is on your bucket list of travel locales? I know for a lot of folks it seems like you will never be able to do it. But....what if you could?

Travel prices have dropped in the past few years. Even now Sandals is doing an up to 65% off promotion and Superclubs is doing a $630 air credit. Almost every resort is working hard to provide an affordable, unforgettable vacation experience.

So where do you want to go? Is it Europe? How about the Far East? Australia/New Zealand? What about that cruise you have wanted to take, or just lay on a white sand beach in the Caribbean?

Now is the time to plan. Air schedules might not be out for months, but land and cruise reservations can  be made in some cases as far out as 2014. A long way to plan, but you can lock in the great deals now and begin to save/pay it off in the interim. Realize that most land vacations can be booked with a deposit of $200/person and cruises for around $250/person.


If plans change, these deposits are normally fully refundable.

So what's next for you? Where do you want to go that you never thought you could? While your sitting by the neighborhood pool, it's a good time to dream about where else you could go.
