I've seen amazing deals advertised for different resorts in the Caribbean. Sometimes, you just can't believe how inexpensive they are. Then you look at the airfare cost to try to get to that great deal. Not only is the cost prohibitive, but in order to get there from Nashville, you have at least 1, sometimes 2 stops.Thanks to Vacation Express, that has changed. Vacation Express is a Tour Operator based out of Atlanta serving areas in the Caribbean including Jamaica and Cancun. This year, they are doing something different. Sunwing Airlines is going to be doing non-stop flights from Nashville, TN to both Cancun and Montego Bay. The best news is, they are completely affordable! Look at the image on the left, all of this is included in the price of the fare. They are doing these flights on Saturday's to Cancun and Sunday's to Montego Bay. That means you will have to do a full weeks stay, but the prices are amazing. For example, see below:

Just 15 minutes from downtown Montego Bay, this popular resort is set on a half mile of white sand beach, within the historic Rose Hall Plantation Estate. An ideal all-inclusive vacation retreat for singles, couples and families.
These special non-stop flights begin May 26 for Cancun and May 27 for Jamaica. I did some checking to see the differences for the special mentioned above. I checked the week of May 20 for the same resort. The cost for a couple is $2378.00 or $1189/person. The best cost flights are going to take about 6 and a half hours with a plane change on an airline that is going to charge you at least $25/bag.
However, with the Sunwing Airlines option leaving on the 27th of May, the flight is a non-stop 3 hours and 10 minutes. The cost is $1638.00 or $819/person! That is a huge savings of both money and time...and guess what? 44 pounds of luggage per person is no charge!Realize that this is just one resort. Savings are going to be similar regardless of which resort you choose in Jamaica or Cancun/Riviera Maya. No longer is the cost or inconvenience of air from Nashville going to be a problem. Similar savings are available from Cincinnati and Atlanta.
